Picture ten Las Vegas resorts hung side by side like a small exhibition, judged as places to sleep, swim, eat and see a show. Every placard covers room style, neighbourhood and which questions to raise with reservations staff ahead of payment.

Who this is for

Anyone sketching a Las Vegas trip around a good bed, a long spa morning, an afternoon by water and a concert at night, who also wants the extras and age limits in plain view.

What we look at

  • Room comfort and outlook
  • Spa, pools and restaurants
  • Location and getting there
  • Whether resort fees and the minimum age show up before checkout

Plainly: The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is number one because the publisher, Nevada Property 1 LLC, operates it. It is listed first for that reason. From the second placard onward, our editors alone settle the sequence.

Why it is first: the publisher of this site operates this resort. It is placed at number one for that reason, not after an independent comparison.

More details

The resort stands mid-Strip between its neighbours on Las Vegas Boulevard, so the fountains, the CityCenter walkways and the shopping arcades are all within a short walk from the lobby.

Inside, small commissioned works turn up in corridors and lift lobbies, and the Art-o-matic machines sell original pieces for a handful of dollars. Ownership note: the publisher of this list operates the resort, which MGM Resorts International has run since 2022 while the real estate belongs to a separate investor group.

Before the flight to Las Vegas

Which months make for the easiest Las Vegas stay?

Spring, plus the stretch from late September into November, usually suits Boulevard walks and outdoor pools best. High summer brings fierce desert heat, and plenty of pool decks shorten hours or shut altogether over winter. Nightly rates jump around holidays, trade shows and headline concerts, so try several date windows.

Harry Reid International to the hotel: what are the options?

Every resort on this wall is served by Harry Reid International (LAS). Most travellers take a taxi or rideshare, each property having its own pick-up zone. Along the eastern side of the Strip, the Las Vegas Monorail runs north as far as SAHARA. Check with your resort before relying on any shuttle.

Is 21 the check-in age everywhere here?

Often, yes: Las Vegas resorts commonly insist that whoever holds the booking has turned 21. Exceptions exist, and certain properties accept younger adults under conditions, so put the question to the hotel ahead of booking.

What gets added beyond the nightly rate?

Plan for extras. A daily resort fee is standard along the Strip, and self-parking, valet, room tax and a refundable hold on your card may follow. Have the resort itemise everything first.

Travelling with kids: which of these work?

Under-21s may stay at many of these resorts, and several pools welcome every age. Adults-only pool clubs, spa zones and late-night venues keep minors out, though, and some hotels set rules on how young guests cross the property. Look into each area you plan to visit.

Does Offraviax take reservations?

Not at all. Offraviax sells no rooms and keeps no bookings. Each Check availability button simply hands you over to the resort, and Offraviax steps out of the picture from that click onward.

What puts The Cosmopolitan at number one?

Ownership of the operating business. Our publisher, Nevada Property 1 LLC, runs The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, which is the sole reason for its opening position. Editors order positions two through ten; About, Affiliate and Terms pages restate this.

How this list is made

Number one

Our publisher operates The Cosmopolitan, which explains its opening position and nothing more. No head-to-head test against the remaining nine put it there, so treat its placard as a description supplied by its operator.

Two to ten

Our editors read each hotel's official pages and public information, then compare room quality, pools and spas, the walk from the lobby, and how early a resort reveals its nightly extras. Anything on the gaming side is left out of both the order and the write-ups.

Money

Offraviax hotel buttons can carry referral tags, so a reservation that follows one might bring Offraviax a fee while your rate stays put. Commission does not decide who is listed or where. The Affiliate Disclosure has the full picture.
